Well, we have two more paperwork items out of the way. We were fingerprinted by US immigration this Saturday - a two hour process!!! It took a long time, but we are so glad it's over!
Also, our awesome social worker got the first draft of our homestudy finished. That means she is going to make two versions, one for USCIS and one for our Dossier, then it get's translated, then we will be ready to go to Taiwan Courts and to US courts! We have to get our babies citizenship papers (the I-171H form) from the US court process and our adoption finalized from Taiwan.
Still waiting for our referral. No one has received a referral since we've been waiting, but now that Chinese New Year is over, we're hoping to see some families from our agency get referrals. That only means ours will come sooner :-) Keep your fingers crossed for us!

August 26, 2007 - Documents notorized (How many adults does it take to use a stamp?)
August 28, 2007 - Documents certified by AZ Sec. of State
August 29, 2007 Documents sent to TECO to be authenticated
September 4, 2007 - Documents arrive in Tucson from TECO
September 6, 2007 - Documents sent to Taiwan! YEAH!
September 10, 2007 - Update day! We receive 4 pics and a video!
October 2, 2007 - Receive word from TWCA that our hearing date is October 9, 2007 (this happened extreamly fast!)
