Don't know how much more we can take........

Another day goes by with no news..... Wednesday will be 6 weeks! Our judge is really putting us through heck! A lot of families from our program have been getting their travel calls and we keep getting passed by. We have packed, we have cleaned, we have read books, we have attended workshops - we feel ready! Chinese New Year approaches and we are unclear about how long government agencies close down for the holiday - so we are very worried that we will not travel until March now. Our little boy gets bigger every day without us and it just hurts so badly, there really are no words to express it! The adoption process truly takes a strong soul - and right now, I'm not sure I am right for all of this!!!

Oh, Katie and Alex, I am so sorry for the pain that you are going through with not having Leo home. I can only say that I wish more than anything that you get that call. And you will!! And when that day comes, rest assured, there will be some celebrating for you guys in the Giroux home. I know it's cliche, but hang in there. You are cut out for this and you will be amazing parents. You are so prepared and you should be proud of all that you have done in order to bring Leo home.
Love,
Shana

Katie, keep your chin up!!! I PROMISE you that call will come when you least expect it, and then your head will start spinning. As Shana said, we're all hoping and praying that you get your call soon. You and Alex will be great!! HUGS to you!!! : )

Dear Leo,
I am sure we will get home sometime soon. I feel like I am drowning in these huge diapers they keep putting me in and I just know my mommy has a bow ready for my hair... Our moms deserve a six-pack of wine (yes, a six pack), I hope we get to meet in Taipei when our parents pick us up! You are the cutest boy ever Leo... USA or BUST! All my love,
Sarah

Katie,

There is no rhyme or reason or even sense of fairness to this whole process. It can be excruciating at times! I think of you everyday and pray that you will hear something very soon. I can't wait to hear your wonderful news! You will be wonderful parents and Leo will have so much love in your family~ Jenny
