Leo is ready to start his own blog!
Our little citizen! That feels nice to say! We made a special shirt with our cousins to celebrate the 4th of July! Here they are in the firetruck!

Daddy experiemented with Leo's hair again - this time a mohawk!
Daddy experiemented with Leo's hair again - this time a mohawk!
Well, camping for daddy's birthday was NOT a success! Leo woke up Saturday morning with a slight fever.....a bit of medicine and an hours wait put us on the road. An hour and a half later, we were putting up the tent and taking a walk in the woods. When I picked up Leo, who was running around picking up sticks and rocks - I noticed he was really hot! Upon taking his temp, 104 degrees! we decided to go to visit the emergency room. You wouldn't have known he was sick - he made friends with everyone in the Prescott emergency room - being cute as a pumpkin pie.....blowing kisses, saying Hi, talking about his tent... We kept hearing the nurses say, "Isn't that kid cute?" (Yep, he is!)
Thankfully, Leo is fine. Happy as ever, just a little virus to be treated with Children's Tylenol and Children's Motrin. But needless to say, a couple hours later, we were back to take down the tent (this time in the rain!) and headed home!
Poor Leo cried when we woke up and saw that we were home. He wanted to "night night in tent!" so much!
We'll try again soon...... for now, Leo has more energy than mommy and daddy!
This is a video of Leo playing his "horn". With his daddy opening presents. (hmmmm, for some reason Leo thought they were for him, not daddy. Wonder why?) and daddy's 30th birthday apple pie that mommy and Leo made.

Happy B-day Alex!! Sorry the camping trip was a no-go. They seem to get sick at the worst times, huh? Hope Leo is feeling better and love the video, too cute.
