Well, school's out for me - day two actually - and I'm already going stir-crazy! I know it sounds awful, but vacation when no one else is around is not very fun!
Good news is that we got an update from our Caseworker and there was recently a baby boy referral - so I really believe that our family is second to next or third for the next boy referrals! Bad news is, there has only been one referral a month, so considering that some of those are girls, we are most likely in for a long wait....ho-hum!
My sister is coming into town in 2 weeks and I wish so much that we had a referral so we could tell her - but the odds are against us. Then, we are traveling home to MI in July and are again hoping that we will have fun news to share, but we just don't know!
International Adoption is hard......... Glad I have all of the blogettes to keep me sane!

August 26, 2007 - Documents notorized (How many adults does it take to use a stamp?)

September 4, 2007 - Documents arrive in Tucson from TECO

October 2, 2007 - Receive word from TWCA that our hearing date is October 9, 2007 (this happened extreamly fast!)

When we adopted from China, one of our travel mates always said, "International adoption is not for sissies" Please use those words to make yourself proud of the job you are doing (waiting and waiting) and know you are in an elite group.
Our homestudy draft has just been reviewed and our social worker is on a 2 wk vacation! I have tried to remember that IA is filled with baby steps, but each one brings me closer to our baby.
