Wow - what a great week! Our agency has gotten so many referrals - with more on the way! I am so excited for all of the excited families we have met on our chat group! I hope that we will get to travel to Taiwan together to get our babies! All of this has certainly made my upcoming 30th birhtday (uuugggg....) a little easier to handle (only 4 more days of being 20-something...)
We realized that we never posted how we came about Leo's name. Kai-Yi is obviously from his birth parents. We chose Leo for several reasons. Alex's dad's name is Alex Leonard, so Leo is short for Leonard. Leanne is my sister's name, and Leo kinda sounds similar for a boy. Also, I am a Leo on my zodiac sign and the symbol is a Lion. Lion is also a symbol of great strength in Chinese and Taiwanese cultures. So that's how we came about the name, which we have had picked for a long time. Luckily, when we received Kai-Yi's picture, Leo definitly fits :-)
