Oh wow, he is just so gorgeous and such focus! Looks like you need to stock up on bananas and yellow duckies since those were his favorite pages :)

I could just scoop him so I can't imagine what it must be like for you having to wait to have him in your arms, but hopefully not too much longer to go.

Still the cutest little guy ever.... Oh the squeeky shoes...Cute to see that those were for me on the blog...
It won't be long Katie and Alex and you will know the true joy of being parents. He is a lucky little boy to go to you fun parents. Loved the video with the book. Over chicks even.

Hi Katie, your little guy really is shuai ge! You're so lucky to have had your court hearing so soon! I hope you get quick rulings and can bring your little one home soon!

I'm glad you like our blog layout! The forever family/Taiwan/America background I made. I used Appleworks to type the characters (you enter the pinyin first- if you have a Mac and you want to know how to type Chinese characters, let me know and I'll explain it). I added background color in Draw and then set it as my background in the template. To do that in blogger, choose template, then edit HTML. Scroll down to the section labeled "defaults" and then the subheading "body". On the background line, after the url tag, you can just paste in the link to whatever background you like. Here's the link to my background. You are welcome to use it if you'd like. http://photos-b.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v111/47/74/55301511/n55301511_30856757_6474.jpg If you do use it, make sure the word "repeat" appears after the link and the closed parentheses.

P.S. My little brother's name is also Kai (Kai Wei). I wonder if it's the same character... Our Kai means triumphant or victorious

Yeah, you got Leo Kai-Yi's updates! I was so glad to hear them say his name - it's exactly how I thought you would pronounce it. After they say his name, they say "Len", which is what they say in our kids videos too. It must be a term of endearment!

He is so adorable and so into his books! You're right, he is a smarty pants! Congrats on the updates guys!
