But, we have an amazing story!
My mom and I got into The Price is Right line at 1:30 am - behind about 8 people - pretty good, right? Well - when NO ONE got behind us until 3 am, we started to worry. Then at 4 am, we (including our new found friends Lisa and Aimee) started to wonder if the "Oh, you have to get in line really early or you won't get it" line that everyone tells you about TPIR was a big joke. My mom started calling me, Lisa and Aimee her tripletts! So, after waiting and waiting and meeting some really fun people - we were in line! We got our nametags, we had our "group interview," we could tell that we were being watched every second!
Finally - after being awake for about 30 hours or so, we were in the studio - front row! Right in front of the stairs where the contestents run up on stage! The studio was so strange - much smaller than you would expect! And also the set is not as fabulous as it looks on TV. Lisa was crying saying that no one would ever believe that she was actually here! She was so excited - we were too. To our surprise - Lisa was one of the first 4 contestants called! She made it up on stage in the second half - but lost her game. Then at her second chance to spin the big wheel - she got $1.00 and won $1000 and on her bonus spin, was - that close - to winning another $10000 - so she won another $5000 instead! The showcase was the best part! She won that too! A trip to Paris and a corvette - almost $71,000 in prizes! She pointed us out along with Aimee to run up on stage with her at the end of the show! We got to meet Drew Carey and shake his hand. He told me my shirt was cute -of course he is - and we got to wave goodbye on stage as they closed the show. How fun! You will all have to watch the show - it airs on December 14th. If I have my way - I won't be home,
I WILL BE IN TAIWAN WITH ALEX PICKING UP LEO!!! (I hope, I hope, I hope!)

I am so jealous that is my fave show!!. So sad to see Bob go, but convinced Drew will do a good job.
OMG Katie... I totally saw this episode the other day... I was telling Jimmy about my day (which includes the price is right) and I was talking about how this woman landed on the $1, and the $5, and how they give away better prizes now a days like corvettes.
How funny... I wish I would have looked a little bit closer I would have seen you... !!!!
