Mo is here!

Mo is here and he is sooooooooo cute!

We met him last week at the pound. We wanted to bring him home right away, but he wasn't available for adoption - because a rescue group (called Mixed up Mutts, and boy is he ever!) had already come to claim him. He and some of his brothers and sisters were dumped at the pound because they had too many dogs to take care of. All of his brothers and sisters found a home - and now Mo did too! He's an easy going doggie who let us torture him today without much of a fuss. He came to us with ticks all over - so he suffered through a bath and a manual, by scissor, groom, which took about an hour! When he came, he was 12 pounds of fluff. Now he's 10 pounds soaking wet! He's smaller than we remembered him at the pound - but we like our little guy!
It's such a small world too - when we went to get Mo from the rescue, Mike looked very familiar! Turns out - we met Carin and Mike at Commonwealth's adoption seminar in December - they are awaiting their arrival of their two little ones from Columbia! Good luck to them - hope their kiddos come home soon. By the way, Leo as always, was a big hit with Mike.
This is for Aunt Tashia and Uncle Steve - we had to drive out near Joe's BBQ to get Mo. So on the way, of course I had to teach Leo the Joe's BBQ song -which he sung happily the whole time we were there! Sometimes, revenge is sweet. So enjoy it while it lasts :-) I know if you were here, you would have taught it to him too :-)

Also here are some new pics of Leo and his best buddy Dada. I am still Baba, occassionally Mommy (which just melts my heart) and Mama when he's mad :-)

This is the $1.25 cookie that Mommy bought because she felt guilty for grocery shopping without Leo. He enjoyed his "dego" cookie!

The time is coming when you will buy yourself a cookie for sneaking out of the house without taking Leo grocery shopping with you! Hehehe! Congrats on the puppy - he is cute and looks like just the right size for Leo.

Congrats on the new dog!! How did you pick the name? Or did he already have it? One of our favorite kid authors is Mo Willems (that's why I'm asking).

I agree with Mel about buying yourself a cookie!!
