Mommy's first Mother's Day was

Perfect! I was spoiled rotten! Alex made a yummy breakfast then Leo brought me my present! He helped me open my card and my present. I got a wonderful photo box with a tear-jerker poem on it. And I got a necklace that Leo and daddy designed for me. It has a pearl for Leo's birth month and an aquamarine for March, the month Leo came home and a diamond from daddy to mommy. It is just perfect!

Leo opening my present :-)
Then we headed to the lake for a fun family day. We were parked next to a family celebrating with spanish music next to us. Leo sat on my lap happily singing all the songs for at least 30 minutes. He's so cute! He also enjoyed a nice game of throw rock or put rock in cupholder - very thrilling!

On the way, we stopped and had Polish food, one of my favorites!

It was a great day until................

MO STRUCK AGAIN!
We came home to find the little butterhead missing! We panicked and went to check the yard. Yep, this time, he dug a hole underneath our fence! Checked the answering machine - our wonderful neighbors had left a message saying they had our doggie.......so I sent Alex right over. He walked out the door as I listened to the next message - a hangup. Finally, a third message, from another neighbor saying they have our doggie. Hmmmmmm - that's wierd.

So when Alex comes back, he shares that Mo dug out of our neighbors yard - only to be found by the third message neighbor. Follow me?

So I called the third neighbor, who we had never met. He was at the grocery store buying Mo food. He seemed a bit hesitant about me calling (I think they liked our little Mo) but he returned him to us - sigh! So Alex spent the rest of the evening pouring cement under our fence to keep our little escape artist from escaping. You would THINK that 6 foot block walls would keep an 11 pound mixed up mutt in - but....

Hopefully this saga will not continue as beginning tomorrow, Mo will be crated when we leave!
Happy Mother's Day to everyone! Hope you had as great of a day as I did!
